Meditation Wednesday: Seeking Clarity

Spring cleaning our thoughts, like life around us, should always be a thing this time of the year.

Our thinking collects little tidbits of information, clapback, new ideas and concepts that we think we need along the way. Just think of how much information we consume daily via memes, email, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, and although we think that information is just pushing through a funnel… it’s not. Reality is, we retain most of what we see and hear and click.

So how can we get clarity in the midst of all that’s circulating? Meditations these days are more important than ever. This month’s meditation, in particular, should help dust off the cobwebs that you’ve collected recently.

We listed below also the best days to meditate, write or go off social completely. You don’t have to do a strict fast, but a day or two of not using your smartphone could clear off more than just time. Remember to repeat the mantras below. And if you need more help, try these meditation tips on for size.

There is nothing before me.
There is nothing behind me.
I am surrounded by peace.

The clarity is silence
The clarity is solitude.
The clarity is peace.

There is nothing before me.
There is nothing behind me.
I spread my arms to the infinite space
Before me.
I am surrounded by peace.

The clarity is silence.
Shh.
The clarity is solitude.
Shh.
The clarity is peace.
