Going back, back, forth and forth is one of my favorite R&B star, Aaliyah, song… but also how it feels sometimes in life, especially with the transits this week.
Fortunately for us, astrology is a great tool to use when looking at the back, back of life, helping us go forth, forth a little more prepared and with some growth in the mix.
This week, the full moon is asking that we really drop the bags we’ve been carrying all year and move forward with a fresh pep to our step. Full moons are known to be great for releasing, but this one in particular with the moon in Aquarius is asking that we dig our heels and focus on the changes we want to see. Also, Mercury which just went direct and got back into Leo early this week, will be squaring Uranus, too; adding a spark to ideas, the way you communicate and what you communicate, how you talk and express yourself, etc.
Uranus, which rules Aquarius, is going retrograde early this week until early January 2020 and then a few weeks from that we’re going to be enjoying a new moon in Aquarius, which is when we should really evaluate how what we dropped now has benefited our then.
Remember, astrology depends on the back and forth. We can move forward, of course, but with how much we learned and apply from our past, so it’s also a good opportunity to see what we were doing earlier this year end of January through February.
And yes, our printable this week helps you keep track of all of this, the remaining retrogrades, when they go direct and their shadows period. The shadows tells us that although the planet is moving forward, we should sweep up issues that are still flaring up and figure out how to best move forward.
As for the forth, Jupiter is going direct and this year wrapping up the fun it’s been having in its ruling sign of Sagittarius. Time to really, really go big or go home for this calendar year, wherever the planet is transiting in your chart… although, really, shouldn’t life always be really about going big or going home?
A few pointers to enjoy this week, and use your printable wisely, however, are as follows:
- Don’t lose faith. Even when it feels like you’re moving more backwards than forward, focus on the quality of your growth—not the quantity.
- Expect some crazy. Uranus is an unexpected energy, so rather than be wary or cautious, try to be more aloof. It doesn’t mean to be careful, but rather flow with the energy rather than freak out or try to control it.
- Breaks are necessary. Taking breathers are important, especially when so many planets are switching gears and jumping into new signs. Remember to give yourself a pause and time to verbalize and come to terms with what you’re thinking, feeling and doing.
Don’t forget to download the printable to review the retrogrades and check-in with yourself and the energies around you.
